Tom passed away Tuesday , July 10, 2012 at his home after a lengthy illness with his family at his side. He was born January 14, 1954 in Paw Paw the son of Robert and Betty (Stewart) Kidd. Tom was employed as a machinist at Durmatellic in Kalamazoo until his illness. He was very positive through-out his 35 year illness and appreciated little things, loved his family and especially his K-9 friend Dora. He very much enjoyed going to the casino and also playing the slot machine that was given to him by his friend Rick Pursley. On June 22, 1974 in Paw Paw, Tom was united in marriage to Donna Sue Gokey who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Boehme of Lawton; twin sons, Billy Kidd of Lawton and Bradley (Angie) Kidd of Oshtemo; 2 grandchildren, Nicholas Siegel and Austin Palmer; brother, Jim of N.C. and a sister Debbie of Lawrence; mother-in-law, Geraldine Gokey of Mattawan; 2 brothers-in-law, Fred Dillenbeck of Paw Paw, and David Gokey of Mattawan; sister-in-law, Deanna Gokey. Family will receive friends Thursday evening, (7/12) 6 to 8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Friday 1 p.m. with Pastor Vic Downing officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Cemetery, Lawrence. Memorial contributions may directed to the family.
