Donna Rose Gossett, 75, of Paw Paw, passed away Sunday July 7, 2019 in Kalamazoo. 

She was born June 15, 1944,the daughter of the late Walter E. Kohnke Sr., and Margaret (Sherry) Kohnke .

Donna was a Lioness of the Paw Paw Lions Club, a volunteer at the Van Buren County Senior Services, longtime parishioner at St. Mary Catholic Church where she worked Bingo for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was very strong and courageous. She toured seven countries on her own while visiting Germany many years ago. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, golf, Thai Chi, drumming, crocheting and camping with her family.
Donna is survived by her husband, Edward Gossett, two daughters, Diane Kimery of Chuckey, TN and Deborah (Chuck Overacker) Gossett of Allendale, MI; two grandchildren, Brittany (Jay Milam) Gossett of Kalamazoo, Rachel (Cory Kyker) Gossett of Afton, TN; sister, Clara (Jim) Orgen of Portage, MI; and brother, Walter (late Rita) Kohnke Jr. of Climax, MI, her beloved dog, Casper, and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 10, 2019, beginning at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw, where a Rosary service will commence at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will follow on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary Catholic Church, Paw Paw, with Fr. Joseph Xavier officiating. Cremation will follow. Donna will be interred at Fort Custer National Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
