Amy Louise Jacobs

Amy Louise Jacobs, 92, of Paw Paw, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at her home in Paw Paw.

She was born September 14, 1932, in Deerfield, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas Elliott Sr. and Ruth (Aeglic) Elliott.

Amy was a true farm girl. She lived and worked on her property up until the last few months of her life. She was not a woman who stayed still, she was extremely active and never let the grass grow under her feet. Amy enjoyed baseball, reading and spending time with her beloved family. Amy was the true matriarch of the Jacobs family. She was proud to share a birthday with her identical twin great-grandchildren, who were born on her 81st birthday! She loved being around people and never met a stranger. Her kindness and caring soul will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her sons, Edward (Gerri K.) Jacobs, Gary (Shannon) Jacobs and Dale (Sheila) Jacobs; daughter, Donna (Troy) Rozema; grandchildren, Kelli (Adam) Bielang, Matthew Paddock, Brooke Jacobs, Amy (Andrew) Bolkcom, Jordan Jacobs, Mitchell (Dionna) Jacobs; great-grandchildren, Cora Marsh, Collins Marsh, Monroe Bielang, William Bolkcom, Miles Bolkcom, Lucas Bolkcom and Luna Jacobs.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clair Jacobs; son, Gene Jacobs and five siblings.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Buddy Turner officiating. Amy will be laid to rest at Wildey Cemetery immediately following.
