Anna Marie (Turk) Hall, age 102, passed away peacefully into eternal life on April 15, 2020, at
White Oaks Assisted Living in Lawton, MI.
Anna was born on June 1, 1917 in Calumet, MI, the daughter of Frank and Johanna (Cekada)
Turk. After her Father’s passing in a copper mine in Calumet, her Mother remarried and the
family moved to Decatur, MI where she grew up and graduated from Decatur Country School in
8 th grade. She cleaned houses in Chicago until she met and married Marshal Adams on

her husband and two sons. When she wasn’t working on the family farm, then she was
preparing a meal for her family. After Marshal passed in April, 1966, she worked at Paw Paw
Plating until she retired and loved camping in the summers with her family. Anna later married
Leonard Hall on June 10, 1990. They enjoyed many years of marriage together and could often
be found dancing. Leonard also preceded her in death in December, 2010. She was a member
of Trinity Lutheran Church in Paw Paw and a member of the Decatur VFW Women’s Auxiliary.
Anna truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures like spending time with her family,
grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends and will be greatly missed by them all.
Surviving are her two Sons, Elvin (Charlotte) Adams, Mattawan and Phillip (companion Lyn
Lindstrom) Adams, Kalamazoo; Grandchildren, Pamela (Todd) Sikkema, Mattawan, Mark (Lori)
Adams, Mattawan, Craig (Cheryl) Adams, Shelby Township, Andrea (Jeff) Dunn, Hamden, CT,

friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands, and all of her siblings
Frank, John, Johanna, and Mary.
A private graveside service will be held at Cuddeback Cemetery with Pastor Phillip Phifer
officiating. Interment will follow in Cuddeback Cemetery, Paw Paw, MI. A public gathering will
be scheduled at Trinity Lutheran Church when the current health crisis subsides.
