Aydon Cole Bannister

Aydon Cole Bannister, 21, of Gobles, passed away in his sleep on Saturday June 20, 2026, after a hard-fought battle against cancer at his home in Gobles.

He was born October 30, 2004, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Donnie Bannister and Jennifer McDonald.

Aydon was a talented tattoo artist and expressed himself through his own tattoos and sharing his talent with others. He had a passion for tree cutting, camping and nature. Aydon enjoyed playing video games and listening to music. Aydon was always a comedian, the life of the party, leaving countless memories on everyone he met. Above all else, Aydon was a devoted husband and father. He adored his wife, Miceala and his son, Jrue and always made sure they were taken care of and had everything they needed. Aydon was especially excited for the arrival of his twin daughters. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Miceala (Mikle) Bannister; son, Jrue Bannister; unborn twin daughters, Kinsley Jo and Paislee Mae Bannister; mother, Jennifer (Timothy) McDonald; father, Donnie (Alyse) Bannister; and siblings, Casey (CJ Drewyor) Bannister, Caitlin Bannister, Jaxson (Mara) Schrock and Kameron Schrock; Step siblings, Alea (Aaron) Michelli, Hunter Rhyner, JT Dickerson and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Sheila Baker officiating.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for Aydon's children. Checks made payable to Miceala Bannister.
