Benjamin Robert Merrill

Benjamin Robert Merrill, 46, of Paw Paw, passed away surrounded by family on Monday October 7, 2024, at his home in Paw Paw. 

He was born September 13, 1978, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Paul Merrill and Judith Ann (Leason) Merrill.

Ben was an avid soccer and football fan, both American and European and could often be found cheering on his favorite teams. He also enjoyed watching movies. Music was a big part of his life, he loved to listen to music and was a talented singer. Ben had a unique sense of humor and had the ability to make anyone laugh, a trait that will be deeply missed by his loved ones, co-workers and friends. Most of all, Ben loved his family and wanted nothing more than to spend time with them. He was very close with his siblings and adored his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his sister, Jeaneen (Ed) Orbeck; brother, Rick (Lindsay) Merrill; four nephews, Michael Strong, Cole Merrill, Josh Merrill and Carter Merrill and two nieces, Megan Strong and Paige Merrill. 

Ben was preceded in death by his parents. 

Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw. A memorial service will commence at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Buddy Turner officiating.
