Bonnie Loretta Franklin, 86, of Decatur, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025, at Bronson Hospital.
She was born October 28, 1938, in Monroe Township, Arkansas, the daughter of John Harbert and Vera (Lebo) Sutterfield.
Bonnie was a loving mother and grandmother. Her life revolved around her grandchildren. She enjoyed crafting jewelry and playing cards with her card partner Sam. In previous years, Bonnie loved vacationing and driving around. She was dedicated to her beloved canine pals.
She is survived by her three daughters, Debra (Dennis) Parish of South Haven, Helen (John) New of Decatur, Sherrie Reeves of Decatur, two sons, Orville "Bub" (Dainie) Reeves of Decatur and Patrick "Kenneth" (Ashley) Reeves of Decatur. Bonnie is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, two sisters, Mildred Salmon and Connie (Gary) Smith.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Orle Reeves, daughter, Natily Nacole Franklin, son, Richard Ray Reeves, grandsons, Chad Reeves and Kane Reeves, sisters, Lois Leach, Kay Forshee, Patty Birlsen, brothers, Kenny Harbert and Jessie Harbert.
Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, June 2, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw, where services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Heflin officiating. Burial will follow at the Harrison Cemetery, Decatur.
