Bruce Eastling, 48, of Paw Paw, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 14, 2014 at his home. He was born September 12, 1965 in Grand Haven, the son of Asa and Sandra (Rogers) Eastling. Bruce graduated from Fremont Schools and became a welder, working most recently at Production Tooling in Mattawan. He was a fan of classic cars, motorcycles and loved fishing.
On May 30, 1997 in Allegan County, Bruce was united in marriage to Joy Merrill who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Eric (Michelle) Kortman of Plainwell and Kevin (Joleen) Kortman of Paw Paw; three grandchildren, Eli, Pantera and Killian Kortman; his parents Asa (Dee) Eastling of Zephyr Hills, FL and Sandra (Doug) Drake of Mesick, MI; two brothers, Asa (Linda) Eastling, Jr. and Cliff (Stacy) Eastling; brother-in-law, Joe Merrill and his son Cody; and his two beloved dogs, Dempsey and Sarah. He was preceded in death by a brother Bryon Eastling.
