Carol Ann Goy

Carol Ann Goy, 81, of Lawton, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.

She was born November 3, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Donald Boysen and Ruth (Arzbecker) Boysen.

Carol was a graduate of the University of Illinois and Aurora University. She became a nurse and spent 17 years of her nursing career as a Labor and Delivery nurse. She cared for thousands of mothers as they prepared and were in the process of bringing their babies into the world. Her delicate care and compassion will never be forgotten the countless individuals she helped.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Richard Goy; children, Kathryn Ann Goy, Sarah Jean Goy, and Alan Michael Goy; along with her grandchildren, Olivia, Calvin, Jack, Owen, Joseph, Lily, and Milo.

Carol was preceded in passing by her parents.

Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Carol's wishes, there will be no public services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
