Charlene Marie Treadway

Charlene Marie Treadway, 74, of Lawton, passed away following a short illness on Thursday November 27, 2025, at Bronson Methodist Hospital.

She was born June 20, 1951, in Paw Paw, Michigan, the daughter of Merritt Raymond Sr. and Betty (Moon) Raymond.

Charlene was a hard worker and worked at Duo Tang and Welch's for many years. Later on, she worked at Big T in Lawton and became a caretaker for the elderly. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers. Most of all, Charlene was a talented cook, and everyone enjoyed her food! She had many recipes that she made that had been passed down throughout her family. Charlene will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her son, Aaron (Lisa) Treadway; grandchildren, Zackary Moon, Devin Black, Jacob Black and Harley Teague; brothers, Jim (Shirley) Raymond, Larry (Cindy) Raymond and David (Nicole Smoot) Raymond; sisters, Cathy (Raymond) Piecyk and Betty Padgett; brother-in-law, Ken Butler and many nieces and nephews.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, significant other, David "Skip" Schippers; sisters, Cheryl Butler and Sherry Raymond and brother, Merritt "Sam" Raymond Jr.

Cremation will take place. A celebration of Charlene's life will take place at Big T, 155 N. Main Street, Lawton, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
