Charles Victor Bloomfield Sr.

Charles Victor Bloomfield Sr, 83, of Paw Paw, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at his home in Paw Paw.

He was born January 18, 1942, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Thomas Bloomfield and Grace (Sonday) Bloomfield.

Charles was a lifelong dedicated member of the Paw Paw Eagles Club and Moose Lodge. He enjoyed assisting in their projects and was well loved by everyone in the community. He was always the first one with a joke to make everyone laugh. His humor, quick wit and selfless nature will be deeply missed by his loved ones and his beloved community.

He is survived by his soul mate, Faith Elaine Dolores (Rood) Bloomfield; three sons, Charles V. Bloomfield Jr, Mike (Teresa) Bloomfield and Emerson Bloomfield; daughter, Michele (Jeff Popp) Bloomfield; grandchildren, Amy Bloomfield, Charles V. Bloomfield III, Matt Bloomfield, Aaron (Suzy) Bloomfield, Jesse Bloomfield, Jessica (C.J.) Wagner, and Nick Bloomfield; great-grandchildren, Lilianna, Cadance, Scarlett and Charlotte; sister, Clara (Jerry) Snelling and brother, Ben (Carolyn) Bloomfield.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Barb Bloomfield.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life held Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Paw Paw Eagles, 63237 M40 Lawton.
