Charles Edward Mumford, age 66, of Lawrence, passed away June 3, 2016. He was born February 19, 1950 in Paw Paw Michigan to Ethel (Butcher) and the late Arthur Mumford. He is survived by his son, Mark (Jackie) Arnold, mother, Ethel Mumford, sister, Arlene (Steven) Verburg, granddaughter, Angela Arnold, sister in law, Katherine Mumford, many nieces and nephews, including Dan (Melissa) Mumford, his dog Susie and his cat. Charles was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Robert Mumford. Charles enjoyed spending time hunting with his son in northern Michigan, as well as fishing, gardening and spending time with his dog, Susie. Cremation has taken place. Private services at Fort Custer National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
