Cheryl Janine Woodruff

Cheryl Janine Woodruff, 66, of Lawton, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday March 11, 2026, at her home in Lawton.

She was born December 30, 1959, in Three Rivers, Michigan, the daughter of Freeland Rice and Winifred (Lewis) Rice.

Cheryl enjoyed doing crafts, working in her garden, and chasing yard sales looking for good stuff. She liked going to the casino and playing the slot machines. Cheryl could often be found fishing and floating in the water on the lake. Above all else, Cheryl adored her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Scott Woodruff; daughter, Heather Stichler; grandson, Casey Call; great-grandchildren, Aniyah Call, Amirah Jackson, Cameron Call and Journey Hayes; sisters, Pamela (Don) Paterala, Mary (Stan) Darling, Nora (Dennis) McPike and brother, Dan (Shari) Rice.

Cheryl was preceded in passing by her parents, son, Brent Woodruff and brothers, Blair Rice, Kirby Rice, James Rice and Johnny Rice.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw. A funeral service will commence at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ron Packer officiating. Cheryl will be laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery next to her son immediately following.
