Paw Paw
Chris passed away Thursday evening, May 26, 2011 at his home. He was born February 7, 1953 in Tallahassee, FL the son of the late John and Lylene (Stowman) Boysen. Chris was employed by the Allegan County Youth Home for over 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, motorcycles, landscaping, coaching youth baseball and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are a daughter, Lindsey (Joe) Wickett of Decatur; son, Landry (Jennifer Halliwell) Boysen of Kalamazoo; 2 grandchildren, Kendall and Kamryn; 3 sisters, Bonnie (Wes) Newhouse of Richland, Linda (Welch) of Lawton and Cindy (Jeff) Marcelletti of Paw Paw; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday May 29, 2 to 4 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. with Pastor Mike Heflin officiating. Interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made for the benefit of his grandchildren's educational fund.
