Clifford Duane Sowers, age 61, of Mattawan passed away June 14, 2016. He was born August 2, 1954 in Grand Rapids, MI, to Clifford L. Sowers and the late Ruth E. (Stafford) Sowers. He is survived by his daughter, Rachael (Tyler) Habel, two sons, Christopher and Bobby Sowers, grandchildren, Mindy, Tyler Jr., Hunter, Gabe and Tehya, siblings, Steven . (Terri) Moses of Otsego, Linda M. (Ralph) Starke of Dryden, Sharon K. (Glen) Bierens of Kalamazoo, Michael D. Moses of Mendon, Steven L. Sowers of Kalamazo, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Clifford was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth E. (Stafford, Moses) Sowers, his son, Nicholas Sowers and two brothers, Dewight Moses and Richard H. Sowers. Cremation has taken place. Burial at Fort Custer National Cemetery is pending. Details will follow.
