Cynthia Lee Roorbach, 73, of Mattawan, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Medilodge in Kalamazoo.
She was born on October 18, 1952, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the daughter of Henry Dietz and Maxine (Bedunah) Dietz.
Cindy loved to shop and enjoyed going to different malls and stores around the area. Her love of shopping was especially handy during Christmas time, which was her favorite time of year. Cindy always made sure to have her house decorated and Christmas gifts bought. She was also a talented knitter and sewer. She enjoyed craft shows and watching football. Cindy was a phenomenal cook and loved watching soap operas. Cindy will be deeply missed, but her family will never forget the wonderful times they spent together.
She is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Roorbach; sons, Kevin (Danielle) Roorbach and Trevor (Jennifer) Roorbach; daughter, Tamara (Kyle) Mumford; grandchildren, Audrey Roorbach, Lucas Roorbach, Trent (Paige Lhamon) Roorbach, Kameryn Roorbach, Eastyn Roorbach, Paityn Beam, Kaidence Beam, Haidyn Mumford, Tailor Mumford, and Claiton Mumford; along with two great-grandchildren, River and Ellie.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Archie Lhamon officiating. Cindy will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in Mattawan immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be directed to the American Cancer Society.
