Daniel Wayne Prehn Sr, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on April 10, 2024, at Bronson Methodist Hospital. He was born on December 9, 1951, in Paw Paw to Richard Prehn and Mary Katherine (Moon) Prehn.
Daniel was a man who embraced life with a deep passion for stock car racing and the great outdoors. His love for the thrill of racing was only rivaled by his enjoyment of the simple pleasures of nature. He could often be found listening intently to his scanner, eager to stay informed about the latest happenings in his community.
Known for his kind and generous spirit, Daniel had a heart that knew no bounds. He cherished every moment spent with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he adored beyond measure. Family gatherings were always filled with laughter and joy as Daniel reveled in playing UNO with his loved ones.
In addition to his parents, Daniel is reunited in eternal peace with his son; Daniel Prehn Jr and brothers Douglas Prehn and Tim Prehn. He is survived by his devoted wife Diane (Mayfield) Prehn; his children; John (Mary) Prehn, and Tom Prehn; and his siblings Janet (Lester) Haywood and Tina Prehn.
Daniel leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be carried on by his grandchildren: Ashlee, Justin, Austin, Laila, Tommy, Baylie, Trista, Brookelynn, Zachary, Alexis, and Demetri.
