David Lee Hartman, 68, of Mattawan, passed away peacefully Wednesday June 17, 2020 at his home.
He was born November 5, 1951 in Mishawaka, Indiana, the son of the late Robert Hartman and Dorothy (Hartman) Hartman .
David's passion was stock cars, it was known by all who knew him that he lived for racing. He also enjoyed classic cars. In addition, he loved working outside maintaining his yard.
On, May 3, 1969, in South Bend, he married Donna (Meredith) Hartman who survives.
He is also survived by his daughter, Robin (Larry Beeman) Smith and his son, Chris (Heather) Hartman.
David was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Nilles.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be private.
