Dianne Marie (Schmidt) Broeder

Dianne Marie Broeder of Paw Paw, age 59, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 with her family at her side. Dianne was born February 20, 1959 in Wayne, Michigan the daughter of Arthur and Viola (Zohr) Schmidt. Dianne was united in marriage to William Broeder on June 19, 1992 at St. Kenneth Catholic Church in Plymouth, Michigan.

Dianne enjoyed gardening, cooking, silk flower arrangements and animals; especially dogs, cats and horses. She really enjoyed music; singing and playing the violin and flute. Dianne was also involved with Young Explores 4-H Club of Van Buren County. She worked for Country Side Academy for several years.

Dianne is survived by her loving husband of over 25 years; Bill, son; Joseph and daughter; Amanda both of Paw Paw, her mother Viola Schmidt of Paw Paw, sister; Caroline (Patrick) Duncan of Benton Harbor, brother; Mark (Peggy) Schmidt of Petoskey, brother and sister in-laws; Ruth and Larry Mavis, Ray and Linda Broeder, John and Lori Broeder and Bob Broeder, uncle; Ves Schmid and nieces and nephews; Heather (Wagner) Parente and Heidi (Brian Hake) Duncan, Shelly (Scott) McClaskey, Connie (Ben) Park, George (Salina) Mavis, Lori (Nick) Mavis-Cooley, Katie (Scott) Mavis-Fergusson, Elaine Broeder and Ian Broeder. Dianne was preceded in death by her father.

In keeping with Dianne’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Services for Dianne will take place on March 25, 2018 at 3;00 PM from Adams Funeral Home Inc. with Deacon Ed Nickel to officiate. Visitation will also take place on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider West Michigan Cancer Center, Southwestern Michigan Humane Society or St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
