Dixie Mae Schauer

Dixie Mae Schauer, 89, of Paw Paw, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, November 12, 2025, at Bronson South Haven.

She was born August 11, 1936, in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of Walter Mahar and Margaret A. (Peters) Mahar.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Joseph Schauer; daughter, Mary Strand; grandchildren, Taylor Schauer, Cory Strand, Sydney Schauer, Casey (Jesi) Wallace, Cameron (Alexi) Strand, Jessica (Chris) Madill and Joshua (Paige) Schauer and many great grandchildren.

Dixie was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Joseph Schauer and Paul Schauer.

Cremation will take place. There will be a celebration of Dixie's life in August 2026.
