Dolores Pauline Wolownik

Dolores Pauline Wolownik, 90, of Paw Paw, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Maple Lake Assisted Living in Paw Paw.

She was born November 21, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Paul Ziegler and Bernice (Berkowitz) Ziegler.

Dolores was an avid gardener and took great pride in her gardens. She enjoyed going to the casino, cooking and hosting family parties at her house. A woman of deep faith, Dolores went to church at Saint Mary Catholic Church every Sunday and was very active in the church events. She adored her family and looked forward to times spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Mark Wolownik, Kathleen Price, Susan Wolownik, and Robert (Dawn) Wolownik; eight grandchildren, Abigail (Jason), Stephen (Nicole), Jennifer (Kristy), Jessica, Dustin, Conner, Mathew (Porsche), and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Tyler (Maddie), Sean, Emma, Samantha, Hayden, Lennon, Micah, Leelyn, Sophie and Marlow; sister, Patricia (late Mike) Breitenbach and brother, Paul Ziegler.

Dolores was preceded in passing by her parents, husband, Edward Wolownik, and sisters, Shirley (Cliff) Farrow and Geraldine (late Frank) Whitworth.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw. A funeral service will commence at 12:00 p.m. with Fr. David Pinto officiating. Dolores will be laid to rest at Saint Mary Cemetery immediately following.
