Herschel Richard Figg

Herschel Richard Figg, 93, of Paw Paw, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022.

He was born September 10, 1929 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of James L. Figg and Bessie (Gasaway) Figg-Stanley.

Herschel was united in marriage to Ethel Mae (Stair) Figg on September 18, 1956 at the Full Gospel Assembly in Hartford. In addition to his wife, Herschel is survived by his son, Martell (Sherry) Figg; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one sister, Norma (James) Yarbrough and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step father, Riley Stanley, two sons, Mahlon Randy Figg and Mallory Rusty Figg and one brother, James L. Figg, Sr.

Family and friends will visit Friday, September 16, 2022 beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. A celebration of life will follow Saturday, September 17, 2022 beginning at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Lonnie Truelove and Rev. Shannon Truelove officiating. Burial will conclude at Maple Grove Cemetery, Mattawan.
