Jacqueline Faye (Montague) Ploof

Jacqueline Faye Ploof, 86, of Paw Paw, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at her home.

She was born September 6, 1934 in Plainwell, Michigan, the daughter of Herman Montague and Alice (Cole) Montague.

On October 18, 1952, she married Richard Claud Ploof who preceded her in death September 3, 2010.

She is survived by her daughter, Shellaine Ploof, her son, Craig Ploof and her sister, Virginia Shumaker.

Jacqueline was very dedicated and involved in the Van Buren County Youth Fair and the Van Buren County Historical Museum. She was a 4H Leader in both Van Buren and Allegan County and was also active with the Van Buren Fly Wheelers Museum. She has been a longtime member of the Paw Paw United Methodist Church.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial gathering announced at a later date. Jacqueline will be interred at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or the Diabetes Association.
