James Howard Lepley, of Lawton, Michigan, passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 64. He was born on July 9, 1962, to John and Dorothy Lepley of Lawton, Michigan.
James was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was always there for the people he loved and never hesitated to help when someone needed him. He cherished spending time with his family and friends and made countless memories with those closest to him.
James was a mechanic at heart and could fix just about anything. He loved working with his hands, building trucks, working on motorcycles, and taking on different projects. Whether he was fixing something, building something from the ground up, or helping someone he cared about, he took pride in knowing he could make things work.
He also had a lifelong love of motorcycles and snowmobiling. He enjoyed motorcycle rides, being out on the snowmobile, and spending time with family and friends. The open road, good friends, and family were some of the things that brought him the greatest joy.
James is survived by his children, Jessica (Chris) Wilcox and James (Jennifer) Lepley; grandchildren, Logan, Sean, Alex, Landen, Cole, Troy, Leona, Emma, and Felicity; his ex-wife and lifelong partner, Lisa Lepley; and his siblings, John (Paula) Lepley Jr, Brenda Sherburn, Don (Marcia) Lepley, and Mike Lepley.
James will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through the stories, laughter, adventures, projects, motorcycle rides, and countless memories he leaves behind.
