Jim passed away unexpectedly December 30, 2013 at his home. He was born August 24, 1934 in Ross County, Ohio, the son of the late Ezra and Levisie (Smith) Sherrick. Jim was a farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In 1955, Jim was united in marriage to Maxine Van Fossen and she survives. Also surviving are a son, David Sherrick of Texas; two grandchildren; a sister, Darlene Allen; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.
Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of donor's choice.
