Jeanne Marie Norg

Jeanne Marie Norg, 82, of Paw Paw, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at her home in Paw Paw.

She was born August 3, 1944, in Traverse City, Michigan, the daughter of George Waldo and May (Wilkinson) McCallister.

Jeanne was an avid Detroit Lions and Tigers fan. She rarely missed a game and was always tuned in ready to cheer them on. She had a talent for sewing and crocheting. Her family cherishes the countless homemade items they received from her throughout the years. Jeanne also enjoyed indulging in a good book. She was always on the hunt for her next read!

Above all else, her family was the center of her universe. She served as a Cub Scout Leader when her sons participated in Cub Scouts, a role she took with great pride and enthusiasm. She also loved watching her grandchildren play sports. Every sports game and extracurricular event, she was there. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who loved her.

She is survived by her children, Richard (Sally) Norg, John (Cloey) Norg, and Patrica (Amos) Wamugunda; grandchildren, Steve (Kayla) Norg, Tyler Norg, Hunter (Jennifer) Norg, Haley Norg, Trever Norg, Briahna Norg, Donovan Norg, Mary Norg, and Wesley Norg; great-grandchildren, Steve, Lilah, Kayden, Karter, Jiraiya, Hinata, Hanabi, and Parker; and siblings, Gordon (Stephanie) McCallister and Sharon McCallister.

Jeanne was preceded in passing by her parents; her beloved husband, John Norg in 2004; and siblings, Dale Waldo and Patricia Batta.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Roberts officiating. Jeanne will be laid to rest next to her husband at Wildey Cemetery immediately following.
