John William Fifolt, 79, of Mattawan, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo.
He was born January 4, 1941 in Muskegon , the son of the late William Joseph Fifolt and Opal (Rowland) Fifolt.
He is survived by his son, Brian Fifolt, daughter, Marsha Fifolt, his brother, Harry Fifolt two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Fifolt. John proudly served In the US Army followed by working on the Union Pacific Railroad and then retiring after 33 years at General Motors. John was an avid gardener, enjoyed bowling, watching football and completing crossword puzzles.
The family will visit on Saturday, February 1, 2020 beginning at 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. Food and refreshments will be served.
Memorial contributions may be directed Wounded Warrior Project.
