John (Jack) Klimach passed away peacefully at his home on May 15, 2026. Jack was born March 12, 1946, to Herman and Ethel Klimach in Paw Paw, Michigan, where he resided his entire 80 years of life. Jack spent the last 46 years beside his soulmate Debra Klimach, who preceded him in death this past January.
Jack was a fan of oldies music and loved to play the drums and/or keyboard himself. He also enjoyed sharing his love for the drums by teaching his children and grandchildren how to play as well. Jack enjoyed tinkering in his garage, working in his yard and having a good Sunday chicken dinner. What Jack enjoyed most were his children and grandchildren, more so his grandchildren! Over the years he enjoyed with his grandchildren the many sleepovers, wrestling matches, New Year’s eve’s parties and early morning breakfasts spent with them and Debra having fun, laughing and just goofing off.
Jack is survived by 3 sisters, Clara Wright, Marie Durbin and Shirley Downs; his children Kevin Klimach, Shawna Gates, Tristan Wilke; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Per Jacks wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial at a later to be determined date will be held at Austin Cemetery where he will be put to rest beside his beloved wife.
