John "Jack" Norman Ozanich, age 76, of Paw Paw, passed away Friday May 29, 2020.
He was born June 23, 1943 in Paw Paw, the son of the late John Ozanich and Irene (Juriga) Ozanich.
Jack graduated from Paw Paw High School class of 1961 then went on to serve honorably in the Army from 1965-1967. Jack was an Engineer for the Grand Trunk Railroad. He enjoyed Civil War history, railroading and nature. He was a Detroit Tigers fan and NASCAR #2 Brad Koselowski fan. Jack never met a stranger. He was loved by all and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his Cousins, "brother" William (Virginia) Juriga, Cook (Mary) Juriga, Carol (Ray) Scotese, along with several other cousins and friends.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Paw Paw, with Rev. Robert F. Creagen officiating. Burial will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Those who attend will need to practice social distancing and will need to wear a mask while in church. Memorial contributions may be directed to Saint Mary Catholic Church.
