Joyce Elaine Patterson

Joyce Elaine Patterson, 91, of Mattawan, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. 

She was born April 21, 1933, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the daughter of Clyde Ritchie and Julia (Tifenthal) Ritchie.

Joyce was a homemaker and always made sure everything was in top shape and her family was taken care of. She was a longtime avid golfer for most of her life and a skilled bowler. Joyce adored her family and friends and will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by her two sons, Terry (Carol) Patterson and Jerry (Joanie) Patterson; daughter, Kim (Louise) Patterson, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. 

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd on January 17, 1995, five brothers and five sisters. 

Cremation has taken place. Per Joyce's wishes, there will be no public services at this time.
