Linda Lou Stimac "Nanee", 87, of Paw Paw, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

She was born December 27, 1938, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the daughter of Billy Robinson Fisk and Leona Alice (Miller) Fisk.

Linda attended Paw Paw High School and graduated with the Class of 1957. Linda was known for being amazing with kids and began babysitting at a young age. When she became older, she decided to open up "Country Corner Daycare" with her sister-in-law, Donna Fisk. Country Corner opened in 1983 and served as a wonderful place for childcare for many decades. Linda retired in 1999. She still visited and kept in touch with the many friends she made.

She enjoyed camping at Oak Shores Campground and was a regular there for many years. After retirement, she loved spending time with her 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She hardly missed a sporting event for her grandchildren and she was always the loudest cheerer in the crowd. Linda will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

In 1979, she married the love of her life, Clarence Lee Stimac, who survives.

She is also survived by her children, Mark (Laura) Owens, Craig (Leslie) Owens, Lacy (Bob) Morrey, and Amy (Rob) Dempsey; 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Billy (Eloise) Fisk and sister-in-law, Donna Fisk.

Linda was preceded in passing by her parents and brother, John Fisk.

In accordance with Linda's wishes cremation has taken place. The family will celebrate her life privately.
