Lorraine Elizabeth Stewart

There is a new angel in Heaven today.

Lorraine Elizabeth Stewart passed away peacefully at her home in Lawrence, surrounded by her family and close friends on October 15, 2025.

Lorraine was born on April 9, 1946, in Allegan, Michigan to Harvey and Ethel Piffer of Lawton, Michigan. She grew up in Lawton.

She was united in marriage to Franklin L. Stewart, on December 23, 1965 in Lawrence, Michigan. Franklin preceded her in death in 2013. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Angel L Schuster in July of 2023.

Lorraine is survived by her children, Brenda (Vern) Moon of Florida, Evelyn (Clair) Branch of Lawrence, Richard Stewart of Texas and Kevin Hannahs of Beaverton, Michigan. She is also survived by her son-in-law, David Schuster, and many grandchildren and friends.

Cremation will take place. In accordance with Lorraine's wishes, there will be no public services at this time.
