Lucille Ann Hood

Lucille Hood, 91, of Paw Paw, passed away Monday, August 3, 2026, at Maple Lake Assisted Living in Paw Paw.

She was born March 14, 1935 in Kalamazoo, and was adopted by the late Edward Marshall and Marjorie (Cochran) Marshall. Lucille grew up in Jackson and graduated from Michigan Center High School in 1953. She had been a 4-H leader and Farm Bureau member in Barry County. She was also a member of the Add-A-Link Club of Paw Paw and the Quilters of Lawton. She enjoyed making quilts for her family and charities.

On June 7, 1980, she married Nelson Hood who preceded her in death in 2014.

She is survived by her two daughters, Janice Wilson and Judy (Roger) Myers, son, Larry (Cindy) Seedorff; five grandchildren, Sarah Greenman, Carolyn (Lee) Minear, Jason (Ann) Seedorff, Brandon (Pet) Seedorff and Cassandra (Will) Hernandez; two step daughters, Karen (Greg) Hover and Tonda (Craig) Warner; two step sons, Keith (Sue) Hood and Tim (Debbie) Hood; nine step grandchildren; Cyndi Techentein, Mark Hover, Tammy Hood, Charles Hood, Britney Hood, Jennifer Hood, Justin Warner, Trevor Warner and Savannah Warner.

Lucille was preceded in death by her daughter, Sally Seedorff, brothers, Richard Marshall and Charles Marshall, granddaughter, Amanda Tennis.

Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. A celebration of life will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Ash Coombs officiating. There will be a luncheon to follow the service. Lucille will be placed to rest at Cuddeback Cemetery, Paw Paw.
