Mary Emma Arnold

Mary Emma Arnold, 91, of Mattawan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at her home in Mattawan.

She was born February 19, 1934, in New Hamburg, Missouri, the daughter of Frank Menz and Mildred (Dick) Menz.

Mary was a woman of many hobbies and interests. She loved to quilt and sew; she was part of a sewing club and sewed hats for babies in hospitals. Mary had a love of gardening and growing her flowers around her farm. She was a hard worker, always taking care of farm chores and canning/cooking food. Mary and her late husband, Edward enjoyed camping trips to Branson, Missouri. She had a knack for sports and kept up with her beloved sports teams! Above all else, Mary loved her family, and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Ellen (Jeffrey) Rebenstorf; three grandchildren, Jason (Juanita) Rebenstorf, Jeremy Rebenstorf and Elissia (Matt) Pruitt; sister, Vera (Benny) Cook; brother, Glen Menz and four great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in by her husband, Edward O. Arnold and daughters, Diane Lee Arnold-Moore and Sharon Kay Aernie.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Almena United Methodist Church, 27503 Almena Road, Paw Paw. A funeral service will commence at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Len Schoenherr officiating. Mary will be laid to rest at Almena Cemetery immediately following.
