Mary Ellen Carpp

Mary Ellen Carpp, age 83, of Paw Paw, passed away May 31, 2016 at her home. She was born October 1, 1932 in Corry, Pennsylvania to the late Theodore and Genevieve Danczyk. She is survived by her four sons; Michael (Teresa) of Lawrence, Charles (Francis) of Lawrence, Barry (Susan) of Lawrence and Philip of Paw Paw, 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Carpp and her son, Christopher Carpp. Mary was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lawrence where she was active in the United Methodist Women's Group as well as a longtime volunteer with the Lawrence Methodist Food Pantry. Along with her involvement in the church, Mary was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Van Buren Historical Society. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so to the charity of choice in Mary's Memory. Services will be private. Mary will be laid to rest at Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.
