Michael Berry Carlisle

Michael Berry Carlisle, 63, of Hartford, MI, passed away Friday May 23, 2025, at his home.

He was born February 15, 1962, in Watervliet, the son of Lindell Carlisle and Treva (Conner) Carlisle.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Peggy of 39 years, four children, Rachel (Josh) Tidey of Niles MI, Jacob (Alexandria) Carlisle of Paw Paw MI, Daniel (Jennifer) Carlisle of Hartford MI, and Sarah Carlisle of Hartford MI, and his grandchildren, Conner and AnnaMarie Tidey, Madison, Jackson and Paisley Carlisle, and Rowan Carlisle, his siblings, Brenda (late Doug) Musick, Dwayne (Tammy) Carlisle, Diana (late James) Middleton, Teresa (David) Sparks, Larry (Karen) Carlisle, and many nieces and nephew. Mike was preceded in death by his brother Perry Carlisle, and his parents.

Mike was a man of many talents. He was a true entrepreneur, starting his first business Mike's Edgewood Restaurant when he was 18. He went on to own his own restaurants (Bacon and Eggs Cafe), a deli, equipment business, and a newspaper business. In addition, Mike enjoyed working as a realtor and obtained his Broker's license. In his spare time, Mike enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. fishing, woodworking, cooking, crafts and working on cars.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 30, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw, where a memorial service will commence at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Lonnie Truelove officiating.
