Gobles, MI
Passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. Mike was born March 21, 1954 in Rockwood, Tennessee. He was an avid Detroit Lions and U of M Football fan and took pride in his extensive vinyl record collection. He enjoyed his years working on the railroad for Conrail and as a Heavy Equipment Operator later in life for environmental companies Terra Contracting and ENTACT Environmental Services. Mike is survived by his children, Michelle (Marty) Snitgen and Tim May; grandchildren, Gage and Aren May, Jocelyn and Colin Snitgen; mother, Joetta May and brother, Tom May. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude May and brother, Stephen May. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, July 7th, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Paw Paw, MI with Rev. Joe Spackman officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
