Passed away early in the morning on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the Bronson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lawton. Mildred was born on August 24, 1914 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Hlavacek) Libal. Mildred was active in the Paw Paw and Mattawan Senior Centers, as well as Martha's Guild and the Mattawan Community Church. She was very passionate about gardening and was a long time member of the Mattawan Garden Club. In June of 1957, Mildred was united in marriage to her loving husband, Andrew Slatinsky, who preceded her in death in 1984. She is survived by her two daughters, Beverly (Dale) Mayer of Strongsville, OH and Carole (Andrew) Jurczak of Lawrence; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Saturday (3/31) 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
