Paul E. Nelson, 61, of Lawton, passed away Tuesday March 9, 2021 at White Oaks Assisted Living.
Born in Dowagiac on October 18, 1959, the family relocated to Lawton when Paul was a child. He loved to read and enjoyed walking around town doing his errands.
He is survived by his brother, David W. Nelson of Lawton and many extended relatives in Illinois and Florida.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, William George Nelson and Jean E. (Cannon) Nelson and his brother Steven Nelson.
Private graveside services will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lawton.
Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Lawton Evangelical Church, 425 S. Nursery St., Lawton, MI 49065.
