Phillip Michael French, 80, of Lawton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Alamo Cove Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Kalamazoo, MI.
He was born March 18, 1944 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Kenneth French and Mildred (Phillips) French.
Phil loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman and spent a lot of time camping. He also loved to build fast cars. He was adored by his family and friends and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Leva (Spires) French; daughter, Vickie Deerberg; sons, Randal Nard and Michael French; brother, Dennis (Jacqueline) French; brother-in-law, Steve Barker, 4 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Deborah Nard in 1979 and sister, Linda Barker.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
