Rex D. Reynolds, Sr

December 21, 1939 — April 17, 2011

Rex passed away Sunday evening, April 17, 2011 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. He was born December 21, 1939 in Lawton, MI the son of the late Carroll and Lucile (Beach) Reynolds. Rex served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a lineman for the Indiana-Michigan Power Company until his retirement. He was an honorary member of the Lawton Fire Department and a member of the Paw Paw-Lawton Eagles Aerie's # 4310. Rex enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and farming. Surviving are sister, Zoe Pond of Lawton; 4 sons, Robert (Dawn) Reynolds of Decatur, Rex (Jacquie) Reynolds, Dennis (Melinda) Reynolds, and Jack Reynolds of Lawton; daughter, Tami (Erick) Nelson of Berrien Springs; 17 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jack, and Deo Reynolds and a sister, Cleo Turner. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 25th 4:30 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw with Rev. Ron Packer officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the Paw Paw Lawton Eagles. Memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop # 172, Lawton.
