Robert passed away Thursday morning, July 26, 2012 at Borges Medical Center in Kalamazoo. He was born March 2, 1934 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Robert and Mildred (Kipta) Campbell, Sr. Bob was a self-employed tool and die maker until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, boating, tinkering in his spare time, RVing and spending winters in South Padre Island, Texas. On February 26, 1972 in LaGrange, IL Bob was united in marriage to Carole J. Gilbert-Krempp who survives. Also surviving are a son, Robert L. Campbell, III of AZ; daughter, Candice (Mitch) Miller of WI; step-daughter, Lisa (Richard) Nowell of Naperville, IL; 2 step-sons, Robert (Rita) Krempp and William (Claudia) Krempp and both of Plainfield, IL; 8 grandchildren. As per Bob's request cremation has taken place. Interment of Cremains will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, MI.
