Robert James DeVries, 72, of Paw Paw, passed away Sunday June 30, 2019.
He was born December 13, 1946 in Chicago, the son of the late Robert DeVries and Elizabeth (Derner) DeVries .
Robert served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He loved hunting and fishing, and was a strong Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.
He is survived by his brother, Patrick (late Sandy) DeVries; three sisters, Louise (late Edward) Dovey, Nancy (Ric) Kellman and Kathleen (Brian) Marks.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Streeter) DeVries as well as his companion, Sumiko Smith.
Services for Robert will be private.
