Robert passed away Friday, March 23, 2012 at Bronson Nursing and Rehab Center in Lawton. He was born October 4, 1936 in Schoolcraft the son of the late Lorraine and Alice (Guiter) Lee.
He was a self-employed finish carpenter until his retirement in 2010. Robert loved racing especially sprint cars, hunting, and woodworking. His favorite past time was going to his grandchildren's sporting events. Surviving are a daughter, Darcy (Daniel) Munro of Lawton, 2 sons, Kevin (Tami) Lee of Schoolcraft and Kraig Lee of Vicksburg; grandchildren, Katie (Steve) Scott, Kyle and Kevin Lee, Kaleb and Kyler Munro; great granddaughter, Josie Scott; special cousin, Doug (Jackie) Noble of Lawton and a half-brother, Alan Lee of S.C. Robert was preceded in death by a sister, Roxie Lee and half-sister, Sabrina Lee. Family will receive friends Wednesday (3/28) 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a memorial service will be held following the visitation at 1 p.m. with Pastor Adam Potgiesser of the New Community Church officiating. Interment will be in Schoolcraft Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan or Lawton Athletics in care of Darcy Munro.
