Ruth Diane Corey, 81, of Lawrence, passed away Monday December 20, 2021 at her home.
She was born July 27, 1940 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Daniel Thyne and Lucille (Piper) Thyne.
On December 27, 1977, in Warren, Michigan, she married Harry Russell Corey who survives.
She is also survived by her daughter, Donna Fitzgerald of Fraser, MI; three grandchildren, Christopher (Emily) Fitzgerald of Royal Oak, MI, Alec Fitzgerald of Troy, MI and Jessica Fitzgerald of Fraser, MI; one great-grandchild, Morgan Fitzgerald of Royal Oak, and her brother, John Piper.
Ruth was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Hargrove and her daughter, Patty Ann Hargrove.
Ruth was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Lawrence. Cremation will take place. There will be no arrangements at this time.
