Ruth Elsa Emma (Kirby) Griesmaier

Ruth Elsa Emma Griesmaier, 95, of Paw Paw, MI, passed away on March 28, 2020, in Grand Rapids, MI. She was born on November 9, 1924 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Thomas and Elsa (Schultz) Kirby.

Ruth married the love of her life, George Edward Griesmaier on October 15, 1944. She was a devoted member, organist, and secretary at Trinity Lutheran Church in Paw Paw. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and she adored spending time with her family. She was also a member of Martha Guild, Kids at Heart, and the Lawrence Garden Club.

Surviving are her Children, Larry (Cynthia) Griesmaier, Robbyn Perry, and Lynda (Robert) Campbell; Grandchildren, Jayson (Talia) Griesmaier, Jennifer (David) Atkins, Darryl (Andrea) Torrey, and Gregory (Brittani) Torrey; Great-Grandchildren, Zachary Torrey Brewer, Darryl Torrey Jr., Xander Torrey, Josie Atkins, Jessalyn Atkins, Issak Griesmaier, Ella Griesmaier, Sawyer Torrey, Ava Torrey, David Atkins Jr., and Joelle Atkins. Ruth was preceded in death by her loving Husband, George Griesmaier on February 12, 2003 as well as a Son, Ronald and her Parents.

A graveside service will be held at Glendale Cemetery in Paw Paw, on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 1:00p.m..  Interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery, Paw Paw, MI. Contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church. To sign the online guest book, go to www.adamspawpaw.com.
