Sandra Olga Boyco

Sandra Olga Boyco, 75, of Kalamazoo, passed away on Tuesday June 17, 2025, at her home in Kalamazoo.

She was born April 9, 1950, in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Sebastian Boyco and Irene (Korchak) Boyco.

Sandra proudly served her country after gaining her citizenship in the United States Air Force for three years. She worked her way up to Sergeant, a title she was very proud of. She was a simple and quiet woman, she enjoyed quilting, sewing, hiking and reading. She also lived in Arizona for eight years before moving back to Michigan.

She will be deeply missed by her sisters, Donna Cisneros and Diana Crenshaw; brothers, Ernest Boyco and Daniel Boyco; nieces and nephews, Katrina Auton, Carla Beltran, Jaqueline (Robert) Winters, Nathaniel Boyco, Tara Boyco, Shane Boyco, Heather (Adam) Shipley and Sidney (Kelly) Crenshaw; and great nieces and nephews, Kiana and Jaelyn Auton, Adriana and Neeko Beltran, Sebastian Winters, Olivia and Isabelle Shipley and Elena and Isabelle Crenshaw and sisters-in-law, Joyce Boyco and Rosemary Boyco.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation will take place. She will be laid to rest with full military honors on June 25, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Please arrive to the cemetery 10 minutes prior to the service.
