Sofia A. (Chokas) Daggitt

Sofia A. Daggitt, 81, of Lawton, passed away Wednesday March 11, 2020 at her home in Lawton.
She was born March 5, 1939 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Angelo Chokas and Eva (Mueller) Chokas.
Sofia and her family moved from Chicago to Bangor when she was a child, where she was raised on the family farm. She Retired from Welch's after 32 years of service. Sofia was an avid  NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhardt fan. She also loved working outside around her yard and growing plants.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Jim) DeYoung, son, Richard  Daggitt, former daughter in law, Shirley Daggitt; five Grandchildren, Amber (Tyler) Brooks, Brittany DeYoung, Jason Daggitt James DeYoung and Josey Buentello; four Great-Grandchildren, Joshua Brooks, Jacob Brooks, Nathan  Brooks and Brayden Welch; two sisters, Helina Jaco and Dimi (Doug) Sirrine. Sofia was preceded in death by her sister, Sylvia Kowalski.
