Valentine J. Soltysinski, Age 90, passed away Saturday morning, Dec. 20, 2014 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence in Kalamazoo after a brief stay. She was born March 12, 1924 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Joseph and Petronell (Wachowski) Soltysinski. She was employed by the R.R. Donnelly Company before moving to Michigan was employed by Duo-Tang Products in Paw Paw until her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw, Polish Women's Alliance and loved to play bingo. Surviving are a sister, Esther Nolan of Paw Paw, MI; sister-in-law: Jacqueline Soltysinski of Chicago, IL; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Delphine Kieltyka and Phyllis Soltysinski and three brothers, Henry, Edwin and Walter Soltysinski. Family will receive friends Sunday, December 28, 2014, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a Rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, Dec. 29, 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Joseph Xavier celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
