Paw Paw
Violet B. Leason, Age 92, of Paw Paw passed away Monday morning, Oct. 27, 2014 at Bronson Commons, Mattawan. She was born February 8, 1922 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late William and Rose (Vanourek) Abeln. Violet was united in marriage to Lyle Fred Leason who preceded her in death on February 4, 1989. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Kathleen Rose Leason and a brother, Willis Abeln. Surviving are 2 daughters, Rose Lynn Leason of Paw Paw and Judith Merrill of Kalamazoo; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Thursday, (10/30), 3:30 pm. at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals as she was the greatest animal lover, ever. Arrangemens by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
